This fishing village is the birthplace of former president Mireya Moscoso, and we won't let you forget it. As soon as you arrive, you're greeted by a huge sign with her full-length photo and a small square with a plaque confirming that Pedasi is indeed the birthplace of the country's first female president (1999-2004). This neat village has a number of attractions, starting with its pretty traditional houses. An ideal starting point for many excursions, Pedasi also boasts beautiful nearby beaches, as well as waters ideal for diving, fishing and surfing. Not forgetting the unmissable Isla Iguana, recommended by most establishments!
