LA CUCCINA

On the Promenade Royale, one restaurant follows another and all look alike, with one thing in common: a lack of charm... except here, fortunately, at La Cuccina. The long wooden bar and candlelit tables facing the sea give it a certain cachet for a balmy moonlit evening. The menu is resolutely Italian, not something to swoon over, but something to eat very well in a pretty setting. Pastas, risottos, fish, antipasti... to be accompanied by a good bottle of Italian wine, please!
