PORT SAÏD

Port Saïd is the original work of Eyal Shani, located on the Place de la Grande Synagogue. This now-ubiquitous chef owns many of Tel Aviv's trendy restaurants. Vegetables take pride of place here: everything is marinated, grilled, in a delicious combination. As in all the Eyal Shani establishments that have sprung up since then, take several small dishes to share with friends. On weekends, the indoor and terrace areas are quickly saturated: unfortunately, reservations are not possible.
