This village at the foot of the Judée hills, on the road to Jerusalem, lives in many battles between the various armies wanting to take advantage of this strategic position. During the 1948 Arab-Israeli war, many lives were lost here. Today, relatively few visitors stop there. Latrun nevertheless houses some sites worthy of interest: You can visit a Trappist abbey that houses French monks and a museum dedicated to armoured vehicles. Mini Israel Mini Park is nearby.
