This museum, founded in 1937 through a donation from the Rockefeller family, has depended on the Israel Museum since 1967. It has impressive collections ranging from prehistory to the sixteenth century, passing through Ancient, Roman and Byzantine periods. They will include decorations and objects from the church of the Holy Sepulchre, the al-Aqsa mosque and the Palais palace in Jericho.
