JERUSALEM THEATRE

Founded in 1971, it is Jerusalem's main cultural center. It boasts a number of stages, a restaurant, a café, a bookshop, a music store and several galleries housing temporary exhibitions. On the program: theater, dance, concerts, film screenings, festivals and exhibitions. The Jerusalem Theatre is home to the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and the Israel Camerata Jerusalem Orchestra East West, as well as the Mikro Theatre troupe. In spring, it hosts the country's biggest cultural event, the Israel Festival.
