The American Colony in East Jerusalem is one of the city's finest hotels. This 19th-century Ottoman palace, with its combination of oriental and colonial architecture, has attracted international travellers since the early 20th century. Today, intellectuals, writers and press correspondents gather here. In the coolness of the beautiful patio, we have lunch and discuss the peace process over and over again. The restaurant is excellent, the pool is beautiful, and the rooms are both imbued with traditional charm and equipped with every modern comfort.

Je passais y prendre un verre et j'y suis restée près de 5 heures tant l'endroit est relaxant après un certain stress dans Jérusalem intra muros . Un luxe abordable.

Place of character in Jerusalem, frequented by dignitaries and political figures. The quiet that prevails is very pleasant in a city as noisy as Jerusalem. The old authentic decor but is breathtaking. Have a coffee at least.
the class, unique hotel of this kind in Israel. To discover if only to have a coffee on the terrace in what I estimate to be a village with 5 star comfort.
