Sana Diouf is an excellent guide that offers an alternative to the GIE on a small 4-seat boat, a little cheaper than those reserved for groups (usually 13 seats). He proposes, of course, the exit in Mar Lodj and the bird island, the morning in Mar Lodj for traditional mass, half-day or fishing day, but also visits of Palmarin salt wells, picnic on a desert island, and a circuit of several days en route to Gambia… Everything is possible with Sana, at very reasonable prices!

Belle expérience
Un super séjour de 2 jours + 1 dans le Siné Saloum avec Sanna. La pèche a été très bonne durant une journée avec notamment une énorme carpe noire de plus de 4kg. Nous avons aussi passé une nuit sur une ile et dans une tente pour un dépaysement total. Je recommande vivement. Sanna est très sympathique et connait très bien le territoire.

Plus qu'un guide, un ami
Je suis partie seule au Sénégal et Sana a été le référent sur lequel j'ai pu compter. J'ai voyagé avec lui en toute confiance pendant 5 jours dans le Sine Saloum. Fin connaisseur de la région qu'il fait visiter, il prend plaisir à nous faire découvrir l'endroit où il vit. Il s'agit d'un vraie voyage intégré au cours duquel nous nous sommes déplacés en pirogue entre des petits villages dont Mar Lodj, Djiffer, Palmarin etc , avons rencontrés sa famille et amis, péché, assisté à une compétition de lutte sénégalaise traditionnelle.
J'ai fait la connaissance du Sénégal au travers de Sana et de sa manière de voir et de vivre dans sa région.
Je ne peux que recommander une visite pour une journée, ou mieux quelques jours en bivouac, avec Sana!!

Sana nous a organise repas apero pêche baignade tout le long du parcour, le soir nous avons visité le reposoir des oiseaux et le lendemain après la réserve de fathala la visite de l'île de sipo.
Un super moment en sa compagnie innoubliable.
Sana est très pro et maîtrise le saloum , pendant ces 2 jours nous avons tissé des relations et il est devenu un ami.
Nous le conseillons vivement pour la découverte du saloum.
