MARCHÉ TILÈNE

Right in the centre of the Medina, it is one of the largest markets in Dakar, not very touristy and typically African. High in colour and giving off a thousand and one scents, it displays fresh produce, spices, beauty products, kitchen utensils and clothes. But it is especially famous for its office products, books, magazines, second-hand newspapers at reduced prices.
