At the distance of the centre, on the end of Africa, this restaurant is a pleasant setting. Lovely terrace covered by the pool. There are good pizzas and the menu also offers Asian specialities.

La pointe des Almadies regroupe toute une serie de restaurants aux ambiances, tarifs et cartes tres variees.
Le meilleur cotoie parfois le pire.
Ca va de la cabane de pecheurs artisanale (attention on y a souvent attrapé un belle turista) au restaurant chic pour classe aisee Dakaroise (le jardin par ex).
On va souvent a la Maree deguster des fruits de mer abondants et abordables en terrasse sur le finistere africain: on en prend plein les yeux et plein le ventre pour pas cher. Un bon souvenir de Dakar.

I was several times to the Tide. They were super. The staff is very nice there and the very good cuisine. Remember to buy a painting by coly before leaving over it. Good memories in this restaurant.
The worst restaurant than I could do in Dakar. We came to 10. No waiter moved to enjoy the order with our table. It was necessary to go to one of them, while they were 4 next to us. Waiting area of more than 2 hours for our dishes. When our dishes arrived, the orderly fish were lime! The sea urchins had a dubious brown and last taste.

Nice and all, it attracts businessmen Senegalese, easy class and lovers. Well cooked seafood.

Ce restaurant est situé tout près de la mer, il a une piscine ce qui permet aux enfants d'aller plonger une tête pendant que leurs parents dégustent un tiof.
Ne pas hésiter à y aller si vous voulez vous détendre ( aquariums dans la salle ) et bvous régaler
