Hotel located in Cancun, on the edge of the Nichupté lagoon, with a privileged setting, with a swimming pool and an area for children
Once catering to the mid-range traveler, the Sotavento Hotel&Yacht Club has gradually fallen into disrepair and is now within the reach of budget travelers. The rooms are obviously not what they used to be, but the hotel has a privileged setting, on the edge of the Nichupté lagoon. Private pier, swimming pool with space for the little ones, and restaurant under a palapa. Ask for a room with a view on the lagoon.

La cadre est globalement agréable, les jardins sont magnifiques et bien entretenus L'équipement des chambre reste très basique mais cela reste propre. On est dans un entre-deux, hôtel qui se veut de standing mais qui reste un hôtel assez basique.
Le point noir c'est le personnel, pas un sourire, pas une aide en quatre jours, un accueil glacial (sauf un jeune homme le dernier jours)... Le Wifi ne fonctionne pas dans la chambre, il faut descendre au bord de la piscine. Petit dej reste très basique.
