Located inside the Imperial Hotel, on the edge of the Nichupté lagoon, La Palapa Belga has become in a few years one of Cancún's must-see restaurants. The atmosphere is calm and friendly - about twenty tables at most -, the menu of French and Belgian inspiration. The specialty of the chef, Olivier Ernotte, is the casserole of mussels with marinara(cazuela de mejillones marinara), but the other dishes are just as delicious. You can choose between beef filet with Roquefort sauce, seafood waterzoï, salmon carpaccio, Burgundy snails...
