Cenote where it is advisable to go early or late afternoon to enjoy the natural pool surrounded by stones

You will certainly have already seen images of this site, which is nicknamed "the sacred blue cenote" because the magic of the place lends itself to be immortalized. The cenote is therefore spectacular, but you could be rightly embarrassed by the tourist affluence, as it is unfortunately overrun by the bathers (all dressed in life jackets). It is advisable to get there early in the morning or late in the afternoon if you want to enjoy this natural swimming pool surrounded by 30-metre-high stone walls more quietly.

Un joli cenote proche de Chichen Itza. Ideal pour y pratiquer le plongeon : des espaces en hauteur y sont installé. Attention, il est très profond et cela peut être perturbant voire effrayant lorsqu'on s'y baigne. Néanmoins, les lianes qui y descendent et le petites chutes d'eau rendent l'endroit magique. Dommage qu'il soit surpeuplé.

Very pretty site, but unfortunately exploited shopping purposes. It seems to me that the entrance for tourists is much more expensive than!
From the entrance, sale of silver jewellery, then alcoholic beverages. Very mercantile!
