MUSEO TAMBO QUIRQUINCHO

A museum often unjustly ignored by visitors and guides. However, this colonial house has been very well restored. The 10 rooms of the museum host interesting temporary exhibitions. The house was a tambo, an inn with a large rectangular patio. The peasants who lived there held a market in the courtyard where they sold their products. A small wooden staircase, built from a rampant arch, leads on the first floor to a wooden gallery with a beamed ceiling, and gives access to other rooms.
