All of the arts shop and genuine art gallery, it is held by a French, and locally known as Claude's gallery. Claude Lachamp, journalist and former correspondent of a television channel in Haiti, exhibits a Selection of the best Haitian painters, various schools (Les 5 Suns, Artibonite), safe values (Reeve Duffaut, Prosper Pierre Louis, Fritzner Alphonse…) to the new generation (Edouard Roannet, Makenol, Raoul Mathieu, Piracasso…). We find all African naturalist imagery, naive paintings, but also less traditional expressions. We are far from street paintings, executed on the chain. A stroke of heart for Dabadie, a young Haitian painter with a very personal style, whose scenes of everyday life are tender or more aggressive, but always harmonious. You can also find original gifts among Haitian crafts, cut and painted iron, mâché paper objects, amber jewelry and silver or choose various paréos in the magnificent collection displayed.
Finally, tobacco enthusiasts will find advice from Claude, a cigar smoker, to buy in the air-conditioned cigar cellar, probably the most beautiful of the north coast with some 120 references! A rigorous selection, a wide selection of original brands, including Arturo Fuentes and La Boca, a cigar created by a French manufacturer and the Haitian Gallery, exclusive to the bodied mixture. Finally an exclusive Las Terrenas: The best cigar in 2016 according to the magazine Cigar Afficionado. Retail and boxed sale. And, before you go out, take a curious look at the "showcase to celebrities", where the illustrious visitors of the gallery have been immortalized…
