Dominicus is located 3 km from Bayahibe, and a road links these two tourist hotspots. The creation of the Dominicus site was inaugurated by the Viva Dominicus hotel, located close to the beautiful beach of the same name. Since then, the village has grown steadily to meet the demands of tourists: restaurants, bars, boutiques and other businesses have sprung up, as well as independent hotels and luxury all-inclusive hotels for a wealthy clientele. The village even boasts a popular tattoo parlour, Chez Omar, for those wishing to bring back a permanent souvenir of their vacation on the beautiful Caribbean island!
