Located near the sea and in the heart of a fishing village, the Saona Café is a small bistro of straw hut type held by a couple of Quebecers who will receive you like at home. It is the meeting place of tourists, locals and workers of the tourist industry: perfect to have the good information when arriving in Bayahibe! They serve you in French, English and Spanish. From breakfast to burgers, including lionfish, the house specialty! Good local beer, on draft. Service at the bar.

In place of the former Chikybu, a sushi specialist, Betty Blue has been open since spring 2020. You can still eat Japanese specialities, but also very good dishes based on local meats and fish, as well as pizzas, declined according to numerous and classic recipes. The decor is really charming: a small straw hut and a wooden terrace on the beach, with a view of the sea and the fishermen's boats. The music is not deafening like in some bars, in short we liked it! Wifi.

Here the chef is Mama Rosa, and you can hear it! Hola mi amor is usually the greeting of this authentic Pica Pollo, renowned for serving the freshest fish in Bayahibe! Also on the menu, solid lobsters, but also all the great Dominican specialties, prepared with love and attention and accompanied by small vegetables, wine or beer. And to conclude with a digestive mamajuana ! The small coloured hut offers a few tables outside where you can enjoy the pleasant sea breeze. A very local address that is worth a visit!

At Mama Mia, we eat Italian, of course! Freda's fresh pasta, an authentic Italian and fine gourmet, is a real treat... You will have the choice between the great transalpine classics, all the preparations being elaborated from fresh and quality products, like the delicious plate of pasta all'arrabbiata! Note that the restaurant offers lemonades, natural juices and an excellent homemade tiramisù. An exceptional value for money considering the prices charged for a full meal.
