From Paulhac and the Prat-de-Bouc pass, you can climb to the Plomb du Cantal (1,855 m), the highest point in the Monts du Cantal. The hike to the summit takes an average of an hour and a half on the most direct route. There is also a three-and-a-half-hour circuit... And for the rest of you, you can take the cable car up the mountain from the Lioran resort. From its summit, the 360-degree view of the Cantalien massif, Cézallier, Cansy, Aubrac, etc., is breathtaking. The Col de Prat-de-Bouc at its foot is a remarkable natural site for both its flora and fauna.
