This small town harbors treasures from many different eras. During your visit, you'll discover the remains of the ramparts, with their towers and gates, the 14th and 15th century Templar house (rue Vialboudou), the consular house (rue du Faubourg-Notre-Dame), with its 15th century façade, the former bailiwick (place de la Boucherie), dating from the 16th century and featuring fine masonry, finely sculpted windows, the 16th-century hôtel particulier, now home to the Maison de la Faune, the Murat courthouse, a former Dominican convent rebuilt in the 18th century, not to mention the 17th-century residences, with their basket-handle arcades on columns, typical of the town's buildings.
