THE ROUND MARTINIQUE REGATTA

Originally launched by the Club Nautique Le Neptune, this three-day sailing regatta offers four races with around fifty boats entered. This race is open to monohulls and multihulls, sailing enthusiasts and professionals alike. Four highlights punctuate this competition: the Round Raid, the Round Rally, the Round Rock and the Round Bay. This festival, which takes place either the first or second week of December, offers a varied and dense programme centred around Caribbean jazz. Each year, artists such as Richard Bona and Alfredo Rodriguez, Omar Sosa & Yilian Cañizares, Thomas Enhco, Hervé Celcal, Marialy Pacheco, Doego El Cigala, perform.
