GOLF DE L’ANSE

Inaugurated in 1995, Golf de l'Anse was the first facility in French Guiana to welcome golfers. Today, it boasts 18 holes scattered over a 5,000 m² plot of land , stretching out in a lush green setting between the savannah and rainforest of the Centre Spatial Guyanais leisure park. Numerous competitions are held here on a regular basis, including the French Guiana championship and the Three Guianas championship (with Suriname and Guyana). A special feature: this is the only golf course in the world to be located in the Amazon rainforest.
