This small strip of sand surrounded by translucent water is the ideal place to be an adventurer for a day! The vegetation of the place is composed of corals. As for the fauna, it is possible to admire, at certain times of the year, the nesting of Karet turtles, but also more than 700 marine species. If the setting looks like a postcard, this ecosystem is extremely fragile and degrades a little more each year. For several years, the islet tends to shrink: it is imperative to be respectful of the environment to preserve the islet.

Cet ilet magnifique a terriblement rétréci des suites de l'activité humaine principalement et de l'érosion. Il reste un site incontournable.

Vous rêvez d une eau cristalline, alors il faut aller voir l îlet caret. Une îlet encore préservé et sauvage. Vous serez le Robinson crusoé sur cet îlet

L'ilet caret a été dévasté par tous les précédents cyclones et autres. Il ne reste plus rien ou presque de l'îlet. Il y a trop de touristes, ils picolent toute la journée avec la musique à fond. Allez plutôt sur les autres ilets (Fajou par exemple), cela sera d'autant jolie et surtout plus calme !
