The friendly Wanalao team will give you a warm welcome. This small, family-run business, which prides itself on the quality of its teaching, is a true reflection of the local community. Every first Saturday of the month, the club transforms itself into a beach bar , with live music and home-cooked dishes in a friendly atmosphere.
POYO SURF CLUB
Read moreThe Poyo Surf Club is both a surf, stand-up paddle and bodyboard school and club in Guadeloupe, with a base in the town of Le Moule, another in the commune of Sainte-Anne and on the island of Marie-Galante. Surfing lessons are also available on the Helleux beach in Sainte-Anne. In addition to courses and workshops, the structure also offers equipment for hire. The three centers regularly organize competitions, as well as initiatives such as beach clean-ups.
KARUKERA SURF CLUB
Read moreKarukera Surf Club was the first surf club to open its doors in Guadeloupe in 1985. It has had the opportunity to train champions (including world champions). The surf school is open to everyone, from children aged 5 and upwards to adults, with courses adapted to suit all levels, from beginners to the most competitive. Lessons are given on the Grande Terre coastline between Sainte-Anne and Port-Louis, depending on the weather, swell and, of course, the level of trainees. Boards are also available for hire.
