Sports and leisure activities La Désirade

Joël, a fisherman from Désirade, offers unforgettable sea excursions. Outings take place aboard a 12-seater speedboat. Departing from Désirade or Saint-François, take a day trip to the Petite-Terre reserve, including lunch (chicken, fish or lobster on the beach). We also offer a full-day buggy tour of Désirade and Petite Terre. During the trip, you may encounter whales. The boat is equipped to listen for their song.

Olivier is a former fisherman who has now turned to diving. He has set up a small, friendly structure and will accompany you on your discovery of the underwater world around the island. He'll show you some fabulous spots. Dive sites are determined by the day's weather, as the island of Désirade is particularly exposed to wind and swell. Two outings are organized, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Olivier will meet you at the marina. You leave in a group of no more than 6 people.

A teacher at the Beaux-Arts, Marcela shares her passion for sculpture in her studio-boutique-gallery. Equipped with gas and wood-fired kilns, she introduces you to a variety of techniques (foot-turning, colombin, modelling, plaque...). You work from a mix of local and imported clays, until the first firing. You can leave with your work once it's dry (which can take up to a month!).
