In a contemporary environment this high-class bistro combines comfort and warmth. With the same name, the hotel has an independent entrance! The chef's refined cuisine reveals pleasant surprises, far from the specialities of Savoy. On the map also, caviar and oysters. We chose a bowl of homemade poultry livers accompanied by a onion jam and we continued gambas risotto, very valuable. In dessert, a nostalgic fontainebleau of chestnut, creamy and light. The service is professional and warm.

We’ve been coming to Val d’Isère for the past couple of years and this year we decided to try a new restaurant. We were very disappointed with la Taverne d’Alsace. The food we received was served cold and flavourless. And then the service… we were “looked after” by a rude and slow waiter who frankly gave the impression they’d rather be anywhere other than serving our table. Save your time and money and visit somewhere else.
