Les Marches is a commune grouping several towns in the Apremont area, located at more than 300 meters above sea level and about 11 kilometers east of Chambéry. The inhabitants are called the Marcherus. With a rich past and important events, the town offers a variety of activities, such as the discovery of historical buildings, a complete visit of the vineyard culture which takes its base on the mythical Mont Granier, or the history of the Moulin des Marches and its rag production. Nature lovers will be able to relax and enjoy the natural parks (Chartreuse and Bauges).
