LE MONT MORBIÉ
At 1,545 meters, Mont Morbié is a discreet but emblematic summit of the Bauges massif, accessible from Arvillard, near La Rochette. The route takes in forest paths before moving on to more open mountain pastures, revealing a wild and unspoilt atmosphere. With a difference in altitude of around 850 metres and a 4 to 5-hour round trip, the hike is of moderate difficulty and seduces with its tranquillity. From the summit, the view stretches towards Belledonne, Chartreuse and the Baujue crests, offering an ideal vantage point far from the hustle and bustle.
