Le Moine de Champlan is a geological curiosity of more than 25 m high, to be discovered after a stroll in Albiez. Located at an altitude of 1,320 m, like a whim of nature, this capricious young lady was able to resist the powerful attacks of an old glacier. Photogenic, the fairy chimney feeds local legends, it is even visible from the Albiez-Montrond ski slopes (Téléski Crêt de l'Ane).
