The Grand Bivouac, documentary film and book festival which has been held since 2002 in Albertville, offers a unique event around travel and discovery. Screenings, conferences, exhibitions are conducive to bringing together different worlds and travel experiences. Current issues and various questions about the world, the environment ... During a whole week of festival, about fifty documentary films from all over the world, meetings of authors, conferences with great witnesses, debates, exhibitions, concerts.

Le Grand Bivouac est un rassemblement d'amoureux de l'aventure, du voyage, de la nature, de l'écologie et du partage. Il regroupe expositions, courts métrages, documentaires, débats, présentations, rencontre... Différents salons permettent de manger, d'acheter des livres, rencontrer les artistes, écouter de la musique, découvrir des produits d'ailleurs, rencontrer des professionnels du voyage et améliorer sa technique photo auprès d'un professionnel. Entouré de montagnes, on est plongé dans un univers d'aventurier. A voir absoluement !

Superbe festival où pendant 3 jours, on en prend plein les yeux et on part à l'autre bout du monde... Émotion, joie de vivre, réflexion... tout y est... et chapeau aux organisateurs de l'événement et à la bonne humeur des bénévoles, toujours la pour renseigner avec le sourire !
