Small steep village not far from Tarare and 40 km from Lyon, Saint-Clément-sous-Valsonne is crossed by the river Soanan. In its heart, an impressive 19th century church rebuilt at the beginning of the 20th century houses a stoup from 1610. A pleasant stopover for a nature holiday with walks towards the Col de la Croix Paquet for example. Note that the inhabitants of the village are nicknamed the pigs, animal to which they pay tribute during a festival with many attractions: cry of pig, tiercés of pig, exhibitions, animations, crafts ... For the sportsmen, several courses are proposed on foot, on horseback or by bicycle.
