A market that is naturally one of the major food address on the Quai du Rhône, in a sector that ranges from the popular areas of the 3rd arrondissement to the more chic 6th one. In the end, an astonishing melting pot that is found little on other markets except perhaps in the 7th arrondissement. At the beginning of the week, just a few stands are present in this magnificent setting of the banks of the Rhône with views of the Grand Hôtel Dieu. But starting on Thursday afternoon and even more the weekend the stalls are numerous, about fifty and more than a hundred on Sunday morning. A few regional product and organic products stands.

Malheureusement en régression constante
Ce marché ne cesse de fondre, les commerçants partant en retraite n'étant souvent pas remplacés. Je l'ai connu quotidien et s'étendant du Pont de la Guillotière au Pont Lafayette! La proportion de producteurs reste heureusement plus fort que sur nombre de marchés lyonnais.
