For the whole month of December, the traditional Christmas market in Place Carnot is filled with mulled wine and gifts.
During the whole month of December, it smells good the mulled wine and the gingerbread place Carnot. A traditional market that has been held for more than twenty years in Perrache, where a hundred or so chalets are set up. In the alleys floats a smell of cinnamon while visitors look for the gift idea to put under the tree: local and foreign crafts, local products, Christmas delicacies, original gifts... The only Christmas market in France to present free activities for the whole family every day.

Marché bien sympa qui enjolive le quartier de Perrache pendant quelques temps. Ce n'est pas la même ambiance qu'en Alsace mais ça reste quand même sympa de flaner dans les allées avec un verre de vin chaud à la main.

Joli marché situé sur la place de la Gare Perrache. C'est un peu exigu et il y a beaucoup de monde aux heures de pointe mais une promenade le matin est toujours agréable. Par contre c'est cher et, en général, on y va pour regarder plus que pour acheter.

Still the same year stands by year. But always pleasure of being in the atmosphere of Christmas, with bright decor nurseries, santon... and light meals!
