COMME A LA MAISON

Coffee shop and tea room
4.5/5
25 reviews
Closed - Open to 10h00

Without a doubt our favorite coffee-shop, where the warmth of a cheerful decor, the happiness of an adorable welcome from Yannick and his team, food and drink, and a highly convivial atmosphere combine to make for an all-day dining experience. Somewhere between Friends with its sofa and the traditional bistro with its terrace tables, with an arty touch to boot, Comme à la maison lives up to its name. You'll feel right at home chatting, working, having lunch, drinking a specialty coffee or an organic tea, sharing a homemade lemonade with an artisanal pastry like this delicious brookie or a homemade carrot cake.

L'AROMO

Wine bar

L'Aromo is not only a wine bar, but also a cellar (rue Pasteur) open to terroirs from all over the world. After 8 years, the decor has changed somewhat, in more cosy bluish notes, for a crunchy Aromo with Damien and Frédéric at the controls. A place for exchanges and meetings where you come to taste excellent wines from France and the world. More than a hundred references that take us on a journey through French terroirs, but also around the world. Wide choice of gins and spirits. Small restaurants.

GRAND CAFÉ DES NÉGOCIANTS

Bar and caf
4.3/5
14 reviews

An institution at the heart of Lyon's life since 1864, the café Les Négociants offers a timeless décor, finally Second Empire, to find oneself in a not really intimate atmosphere - mirrors everywhere and tables a little tight - between people in good company. The prices are commensurate with the good attendance of the place, but some drinks are worth it, such as homemade hot chocolates. Le Petit Négo - snacking/coffee-shop - and Le Glacier des Négociants.

L'ARTCHIMISTE

Cocktail bar
5/5
2 reviews

Explosive evenings ahead! In the chic district between Masséna and Brotteaux, here's L'Artchimiste. Mixology is the science of "chemists" of liqueurs, spirits and other beverages. Excellent ingredients, including great spirits and fresh produce, are used to create cocktails and mocktails that can be adapted to suit every taste. So much so, in fact, that the barman can even compose a cocktail to suit your mood. A warm and inviting place with stone walls, French-style ceiling, year-round terrace and cellar. A great address.

JOHNNY’S KITCHEN

Music and entertainment bar
4.6/5
5 reviews

Ten small tables placed tightly one against another, a bottom of terrace overlooking the Saône, a TV set connected on a sport event or a clip channel. Johnny is not very impressive, but it is one of the friendliest places in the district of Saint-Georges. You can sit here for hours in front of an empty glass, without any worry. You can come to crunch Jacket potatoes cosmopolitan at any time and without fuss, with Chile, Savoy, Bolognese or vegetarian. The beer flows abundantly in this Irish cave where green atmosphere prevails. With a bit of luck, you'll see a music group repeating in the free rehearsal room located in the basement, at the sound mixer, amplifier and battery. An advisable "kitchen".

To make her happy, fulfilled, full of love and beautiful things, put some Broc Bar in your life. Le Broc, the brainchild of Stéphane, who knows all of Lyon - and all of Paris, but that's another story - is the place to be at any time of day - and evening, but that's another story - to meet beautiful people. An inclusive bar run by a cheerful team who serve you like the celebrity you are. A bar where you can come, my darling, with your sandwich from the patisserie next door to enjoy a drink on the terrace. Coffee-croissant in the morning, a board of good produce at lunchtime and a festive aperitif in the evening. Love Broc.

A CHACUN SA TASSE

Bar and caf
5/5
1 review

In this refined interior, a grocery oskar oskar of jazzy music, coffee is king. Whether it's Ethiopian, Colombian or house, the water used is filtered with a softener so that it doesn't alter subtle aromas. Cocktails based on coffee, milk or chocolate will be offered. But tea lovers will not be disappointed because you are not proposing less than 100 different kinds. Tea is served in an original and unusual way: on one side, a beautiful steaming teapot, and on the other, a large transparent glass and a tea flower. The latter is dragged into the glass containing the hot water, and after infusion, it opens itself into corolla to allow a delicate scent to be spread. All these delights can be consumed in the living room on the floor, very cosy and can also be bought to has in beautiful places on your shelves.

COMPTOIR SAUVAGE

Coffee shop and tea room
5/5
1 review

In this little street of the Croix-Rousse, Futé saw this Comptoir Sauvage appear with undisguised joy. In the big family of coffee shops, here - at last - is the organic version that will do us good. Run by charming women who know how to cook perfectly, Comptoir Sauvage is a tea room that thinks as much about our environment (no gaspi and waste with the possibility of taking away in its own container), our well-being (gluten-free option, 100% vegetable) as it does about the pleasure of our taste buds. Hot and cold drinks, vegetable milk smoothies, fresh seasonal products and successful home-made recipes. Healthy address noticed by Le Futé.

PALM

Wine bar
5/5
1 review

An unexpected destination, to say the least. In this historic district with its exposed stonework, a lush jungle setting in the heart of the city for eating, drinking and listening. Every evening, and on weekends at lunchtime, with a daily special, dishes and fun to share. There's even a brunch club that fills up fast (reservations required). But in this atypical setting, our favorite feature is the wine list created in collaboration with Antic Wine. Superb bottles at all price points and a selection that opens up the terroirs of a dozen countries. Successful cocktails too. A passionate place to share great things to eat and drink.

Saint-Paul isn't the only place to take the train. You can also enjoy a good glass of wine and travel through the terroirs of France and the world. La Cave des Voyageurs opened its doors opposite Vieux Lyon station over 25 years ago. This makes it Lyon's oldest wine bar. It's a Lyonnais address at heart, where you need to take your time to enjoy your meal. Superb selection. Emotionally-charged bottles and prices to match. To keep your spirits up and extend the evening, the charcuterie and cheese platters do the trick. Follow the tasting program to make sure you don't miss out on any of the Cave's destinations.

LE BEC DE JAZZ

Piano bar
4.1/5
8 reviews

In the heart of the Pentes, Le Bec de Jazz seems out of time with its Bird style club atmosphere. The walls are covered with the gigantic paintings of the owner. Tchangodei sometimes lets his fingers run over the piano to treat the regulars to his compositions. Unjustly unknown jazzman, this Beninese by origin and Lyonnais by adoption, has participated in about twenty albums. In his establishment, of which you have to become a symbolically contributing member, the hours don't count and you come out in the early morning, drunk with music and fresh (or almost) as a rose.
