One word: damage! Pity, because this address has everything to please or almost. Start with a terrace in old Lyon against the grids of a square where the children can have fun the time of a dish, a warm room, a sunny kitchen made from some Spanish specialities, not enough to our taste, like these tapas sets, this royal paella, this zarzuela and moulds well prepared to all the Spanish specialties, to finish on a pretty successful Catalan cream. An attractive address that only catches through its welcome and service that was considered détestable. Yet, a cute waitress with black hair and Spanish accent told us that our meal would be without fault, but a blonde lady and the cook spoiled our pleasure. Not a smile, even to ask us bitterly to écarter our chair in order to access a table and not just a word of excuse for the dead fly discovered in our salad. Moreover, when we point out, without commotion first, the presence of this fly in the sauce between two leaves, we reply that it comes from the outside garden and that it is "impossible to watch all flies"! The cook, to whom one will make the same remark, almost accuses us of having put the fly in the salad and tells us that this'did not kill us '! Pity for this address, but Smart cannot accept such behaviour in a restaurant.

Rather unexpected as a location for one of the very few Greek restaurants in the city, but we like to get together in the evening, sitting on the terrace near the station of Brotteaux to enjoy the sun-drenched specialities with friends. In a decor dominated by the blue and the Ancient frescoes, we let ourselves be driven on the coasts of the Mediterranean to enjoy the best of the Greek and Cretan cuisine. All the specialities are homemade and prepared with olive oil that is beneficial for the health. With a bit of luck, you can dine to the sound of a folk orchestra and dance the sirtaki around the tables. For a first approach of this cuisine more diverse than it would seem, Futé recommend the tasting menu at €22.50 with its plate of starters, then a famous moussaka, the national dish. But you have to return quickly to enjoy the squid stuffed with spinach, fillets of red mullet with olive oil and rosemary or pork sausages, red and green peppers, onions and tomato sauce, without missing the youvetsi moshari, this beef with tomato, or the grilled lamb chop with herbs... We always keep a place for a fabulous yoghurt with honey and nuts or a baklava. A definitively divine place.

After the Mercière rue brasseries, why not try to change an Italian brasserie? Piazza Papa, with its terrace well located at the corner of the two bandwidth bandwidth and Palais-Grillet, offers an interesting alternative and not too expensive to many nearby establishments… If it is not the haute gastronomy Italian, it does not have the claim, it has the great virtue to be home, to be tasty and, once again, d a good price ratio with 20% discount between 19 h and 19 h 30!
