Civrieux-d'Azergues is a peaceful village in the Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées region. It has a 7.5 km discovery trail called Balad'Azergues, which allows you to walk along the banks of the Azergues and learn more about its fauna and flora. Example of art brut, the works of the Garden of us two, created by Charles Billy, self-taught artist, between 1975 and 1991 are not accessible to the public, but two sculptures remain visible in the village, including one near the church (a large Noah's Ark and the figures of Adam and Eve). Note that Civrieux-d'Azergues has in its basement one of the longest natural cavities of the Rhone, a cave with a length of 25 m.
