Grandval dam in Fridefont, 78 m high and 376 m long, offering many activities such as fishing and swimming.

Overlooking the Lac de Grandval, the dam of the same name is an undeniable architectural achievement. Commissioned in 1959, it is a multiple-arch construction supported by buttresses. At a height of 78 metres above river level, its crest is 376 metres long. The sight of the "ski jumps" in operation is an impressive sight. The reservoir, covering an area of over 1,100 hectares, is ideal for a wide range of activities, including swimming, fishing, water sports and, more coolly, sunbathing!
