The Musée d'Art et d'Industrie is a must for anyone visiting Saint-Étienne to learn more about the city and its industrial past. Le musée à ne pas manquer lors de votre visite. Billets d'entrée abordables même pour les familles nombreuses. Je recommande.

du ruban à la cote de maille
Dans un bâtiment de belle architecture ancienne, au sein d'un parc ombragé muni de bancs sur lesquels prendre la pause, nous avons passé en revue les différents étages, du plus frais au plus haut. Si les métiers à tisser sont impressionnants, que dire des nombreuses armes qui peuplent le dernier pallier ? Arbalètes, mousquetons, fusils ou carabines de toutes sortes, revolvers, tout l'arsenal de la Manufrance s'y trouve réuni. Mon grand regret ? Je n'ai pas enfilé sur ma tête la cagoule en côte de maille dont je n'ai pu sentir le poids !!! Un p'tit gars l'a fait, lui !!

le musée d'art et d'industrie est grand, la visite est intéressante et les objets et salles sont bien aménagés. toutefois, visite plutôt pour les adultes car complexe.
Collections touch with the cycle, weapons and fabrics can make you discover the industrial surroundings in the region of saint etienne in its heyday. A glorious excellent way to the 19th century and industrial past. Currently, a rich exhibition on Manufrance presents the history of this company precursor in the mail order selling which marked a time.
