If there is a mythical place in Saint-Etienne, it is indeed the Cauldron! Inaugurated in 1931, the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium owes its nickname to the smoke that comes out on game nights. Expanded several times, it now has 42,000 seats. It hosts the CASE Rugby, occasionally concerts, but above all remains the home of the St. Etienne football team, ASSE, which has an impressive track record. 10 French Championship titles and a huge fan base! A Museum of the Greens, notably retracing the epic of the 1960s and 1970s has been installed there and visits to the stadium are organised, because the Chaudron is more than a stadium, it's almost a place of pilgrimage!

Le chaudron!!! Un temple pour les amateurs de sport et plus particulièrement de foot, avec son ambiance inégalable il est impossible de viniez à saint Etienne et passer à côté. Il est dommage que l'équipe des verts ne soit pas toujours à la hauteur des supporters mais il est un lieu incontournable dans cette ville. Le musée attenant retrace l'histoire de ce stade mythique

A voir au moins une fois dans sa vie.
Les tarifs sont raisonnables meme en tribune laterale (plus calme pour les familles)
Il se visite egalement hors jour de match.
