The Barberousse rum bar is intended to be a stopover for pirates, an atypical universe in Saint-Étienne. Jacques Viallet and Claude Matencio have decided to create a unique theme bar concept. Barberousse is the first bar with a musical atmosphere specialising in rum. A long corridor leads you to the tasting room, a superb vaulted room, a remnant of the former Saint-Étienne war weapons factory. Decorated like a buccaneer's boat hold with dimmed lights, caryatids, barrels, etc. this room puts you in the mood. It's up to you to stay on course among the 40 flavours of shooter and the ten or so homemade planters. Welcome to the festive and warm atmosphere of Barbarossa!
