A village at the gates of the Madeleine Mountains with a rich architectural heritage. First of all, the church built in the th and th centuries, has an interesting steeple-door, surmounted late by an elegant arrow. Its glazed roof roof offers the shine of its colourful motifs. In the late th and early th century there are stained glass windows which only deserve a visit. Restored in 1895, they have since been registered in the Historical Monuments inventory. Still characteristic of the th, the choir's stalls show curious heads carved in round-bosse, with grotesque faces. Equally remarkable is the 1772 th () chair with its rock style and tulip shape. Another important monument, the castle, built in the heart of the village at the end of the fifteenth by Guichard d'Therefore (private property). At the Renaissance it was one of the most beautiful houses in Du, worthy of welcoming Henri II and his courtyard. Although it is highly mutilated in the th century, it remains its past splendour and, above all, a facade marked by Medallions Renaissance, imitating ancient cameos. On the old road of St. Alban (tagged), about 100 m from the town hall, you will discover an astonishing sandstone cross (xvith) on which Mary is carved on the opposite side to that of Christ. See also the th and th houses with windows and windows and, for some, crafting wood balconies, quite typical of the Roannaise coast. Finally, at the top of the vineyard of Bouthéran, the view encompasses the entire village within its vineyard which produces quality wine and solid reputation, recognised by the allocation of AOC.
