In the foothills of Pilat, integrated into the Regional Natural Park, a pretty town of about 1,000 inhabitants that has existed since at least the 11th century and is known for its flowers and clean air. Rosey was declared the least polluted French town in 2016 according to a report published by the WHO! The forest occupies a large part of the territory of the town. A real paradise for hikers, horse riders and mountain bikers who appreciate the splendid panoramas and the paths that run along the crests (several reliefs at over 1,000 m, including the Crêt de l'Oeillon). Trail guides are available in shops, at the town hall or at the Maison du Parc de Pélussin.
