Museum located in Roanne, offering collections, with a journey of two millennia in history and art history.
Built at the end of the 18th century, the museum owes its fame to Joseph Déchelette, a leading figure in national archaeology. Between the courtyard and the garden, two modern pavilions present collections that span two millennia in history and art history, from local archaeology to ancient Egypt, from paintings to African art, including an exceptional collection of ceramics. Temporary exhibitions and animations.

Located in a beautiful building from the 18th century, this museum leaves from good fifteen years a lethargy, then shared by many museum of sub-prefectures, even prefectures. Interesting with some good paintings from the schools and classical works of indigenous artists of quality. The temporary exhibitions, often made in collaboration with one or two museums in france, and original and good are generally qulié
Small BOF and not enough to diversify. Struggles to park!
