CAVE GIRAUDON
The estate covers 3.8 ha and extends over the communes of Changy, Saint-Haon-le-Vieux and Villemontais. The old vines are planted with high density, while the young ones are wider, in order to allow mechanization. The Côte roannaise rouge has a beautiful ruby colour with purplish hints, an open nose with notes of fresh red fruits with notes of spices, a persistent finish on the palate and supple tannins. The Côte roannaise rosé fruity seduces with notes of fresh red fruit and a note of freshness on the finish. BCBG is a black white table wine, fruity with notes of citrus fruits and a note of freshness on the finish. A great first for the estate and the appellation: Vincent is the first winegrower to plant an aligoté grape variety in the Roanne region, and in the Pays d'Urfé in general. A great success for his aligoté white wine called Eponyme, to be discovered at his father's house, at the Jacques Cœur restaurant in Renaison. The vat room is located in Saint-Albain-les-Eaux, in an old barn that has been renovated especially for wine.
