Between mountains and plains, Champdieu is a fortified village, crossed by a creek, the Ruillat, with pleasant banks. First, we discovered the "work" of a blacksmith, an open-air building, where cows and horses were attached to the early twentieth century. After the medieval gate of Bise, you are facing the Benedictine priory and its church (th and th centuries), which is a fortified ensemble of a typically roman Romanesque style.
