Travel Guide Bessey

Small agricultural and craft village between Maclas and Pélussin which, at the foot of the Pilat, overlooks the Rhone valley. The renovated 19th century church can be the starting point for walks or mountain bike rides. Among these walks, you can probably download the one entitled "Bessey and its mysteries". A short hike of 9 km which will lead you partly on the Roman road following the GR®65, the Compostelle road linking Geneva to Puy-en-Velay (the church of Bessey has a stained glass window representing Saint Jacques), through the hamlets.
