This former parish, now a charming village resort, is located at an altitude of 1,500 meters facing the Oisan mountains. Villard-Reculas, which was the first satellite resort of Alpe d'Huez in 1946, is one of the gateways to the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine resort. In winter, the resort opens at the beginning of December and is home to 103 runs over 250 km. A magnificent site where everyone can enjoy skiing, snowshoeing and trail running thanks to the village resort and its many marked trails. In the summer, the surrounding area is ideal for hiking and mountain biking, especially in the Écrins National Park
