Valjouffrey, a charming little village deeply embedded in the Pelvoux massif, hides, a little higher than its hamlet of Le Désert, the superb waterfall of Haute-Pisse. Very spectacular, this waterfall is located in the valley of the Bonne, which can be reached thanks to a path that starts from Le Désert. The Désert, dominated by the Valsenestre peak, is a pure mountain, a confidential paradise for hikers in the heart of the Ecrins National Park in a wild nature. Peace and quiet are guaranteed in this refuge valley, one of the most authentic in the Alps. It is also a hiker's paradise with the Font Turbat refuge.
