Petit Futé's opinion on VOLCANO MUSEUM
This museum is located in a wing of the Saint-Etienne castle. Its collections (rocks, minerals, fossils, naturalized animals, etc.) are displayed in four large rooms: two of them present the inner workings of the Earth and volcanic phenomena on a global scale, while the other two focus on the geological and natural history of the Cantalien territory. In a playful and interactive way, dioramas, manipulations, and game books reveal the mysteries of the Earth to children and adults alike!
