The village is situated between the valleys of the Dordogne and the Sumène and enjoys an exceptional opening on the landscape, with a panorama of nearly three hundred and sixty degrees. The view extends from the Plateau plateau, in Limousin, to the massif of the Sancy and the Cantal Mountains. It has an old tower tower, which has become the church bell and Montfort castle dating from the th century. This castle, like many others in the region, kept the Dordogne valley. It consists of a body of rectangular hosts, two side towers and a central tower. Other tourist site present on the municipality: the suspension bridge of Saint-Project which crosses the plucked banks of the Dordogne in a wild and beautiful setting.
