Do you want to become a pilot? In the exceptional setting of the ice circuit created in the center of the Alpe d'Huez resort, Evodriver is a driving school offering two activities open to individuals and professionals: ice buggy and car. With the buggy, share a fun and playful moment. In car, two courses with different objectives: on one hand safety, on the other hand sliding on board of cars prepared for the discipline. And to prolong the pleasure, everyone meets in a comfortable chalet at the edge of the circuit.

In Alpe-d'Huez, there is not only snow in winter. There is also the ice cream. And on the ice of this beautiful outdoor skating rink, you can do activities every day of the week during school holidays. Skating for fun, ice hockey and other supervised activities such as an introduction to curling (the most mysterious sport in the Olympic Games) and even human curling! Fun to share.

Alpe-d'Huez is not Lapland, but you can live a Nordic adventure there by going on a dogsled ride. Your musher will take you on a hair-raising ride in the powder snow. Along the snow-covered footpaths, you will enjoy the speed and enchantment of the landscape to the rhythm of the eight dogsled race. You can also practice ski-jöering, pulled by a horse... An alchemy between mountain, snow and connivance with the animals.

Tuesday and Thursday, from a. m. to p. m. (winter hours) and from p. m. to p. m. (spring time). Free access with the Pass package. Large and long 950 m long, the signal slalom stadium welcomes night skiing and offers a difference of 250 m, with the lighting of the stadium equivalent to the Stade de France, and 3 parallel lifts will allow you to take full advantage of your package. During these evenings, you will be visiting numerous sports events and events and international competitions.

In the Alpe, there's skiing, the mountain bike, but not that… To vary the pleasures in winter and summer, direction the Palais des Sports and Congress at the wide opening hours and numerous possibilities. In a space perfectly designed for a variety of disciplines, we come by couple or family to enjoy the swimming pool (indoor and outdoor) or the rink. Depending on the season schedule, you can still practice aquagym, fitness, archery, compressed air, climbing, tennis, squash, basketball, table tennis, roller, beach volley… and many other sports. Regularly, animations for all ages, without missing ice games at the rink. Finally, the Palais des Sports and Congress is also a wonderful space, fully equipped, to organize meetings, seminars, seminars and other events. 

Espace Moto Neige is simply the largest snowmobile park in the Alps and a team of professionals who will take you on a day and evening discovery of the most beautiful landscapes of Alpe d'Huez with a ride to the summits at 2,500 m altitude. For your comfort, the bikes are equipped with heated seats and handles and foot warmers for the driver and passenger. Equipped with a full-face helmet, you can ride alone or with a partner to the great outdoors. A trip to share with friends, magical and unforgettable moments.

L'Alpe-d'Huez is famous for its emblematic climb, which is a recurring feature of the Tour de France, even though it is not the steepest. The Tour's regular visits, and the often decisive importance of this stage, have contributed to its international renown. Every day, some 300 cyclists of all nationalities tackle this climb. Every July, the resort is also the venue for the finish of the La Marmotte cyclosportive, bringing together some 6,000 to 7,000 participants.
The climb has 21 bends, a vertical drop of 1,121 metres, an average gradient of 7.9% and a maximum of 14%. Alpe-d'Huez also offers an exceptional mountain biking area, with over 250 km of marked trails, including 5 downhill runs, and the Mégavalanche, the world's longest downhill run over 30 kilometers, linking the resort to neighboring villages in the Grandes Rousses massif.
Alpe-d'Huez hosted the first Tour de France finish in 1952, won by Fausto Coppi. It took almost a quarter of a century for the Oisans resort to return to the Tour schedule. Since then, the finishes have multiplied, building the legend of the climb, with memorable duels such as those between Bernard Thévenet and Hennie Kuiper, or Greg LeMond and Laurent Fignon, as well as the famous photo finish of Bernard Hinault and Greg LeMond hand in hand. Since 1995, Italy's Marco Pantani has held the record for the fastest climb in 36 minutes and 40 seconds, at an average speed of over 23 km/h!

At Alpe d'Huez, happiness is served on a platter. A high plateau that becomes, in every season, an immense playground for sports, leisure and relaxation activities in the best conditions. With 300 days of sunshine a year, Alpe d'Huez stretches out into the mountains to offer the world's largest ski area. 250 km of pistes with a 2,200 m vertical drop, 10,000 ha of snow, 840 of which are skiable, for incredible sensations. In addition to these numerous slopes, including the famous Sarenne piste (16 km, the longest black run in Europe, with over an hour of descent!) and the terrible Tunnel piste (crossing the mountain and leading to a vertical wall with 35% gradient!), the Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine Ski (5 resorts and 2 villages) offers numerous fun areas and an exceptional off-piste domain with almost 70 itineraries. In summer, the slopes get even bigger, offering mountain bikers 2,610 m of vertical drop. The 30 km Mégavalanche is the longest downhill run in the world! And Grande Galaxie VTT becomes the biggest mountain bike site in France. An impressive range of activities is on offer: swimming, climbing, fitness at the Palais des Sports, ice skating, golf, aerial sports such as paragliding, not forgetting one of the resort's emblematic sports: road cycling and the mythical 21 bends.
